IEMATICS is an online International Mathematics Olympiad organised in this year for the sixth time with pomp and splendour by the Society for Makers, Artists, Researchers and Technologists, (SMART), USA which is sponsored by Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) in association with Society for Data Science(S4DS) student chapter,IEM ,Kolkata and Codechef. This Olympiad aims at developing technological and mathematical skills among tech-learners and other students of 10+2 and above. This competition is organised to put more emphasis on mathematical skills and its application rather than mere theory. This online competition will act as a source of inspiration among the learners of Mathematics.
Date of event: 14th October, 2023
The competition will start from 07:00 pm IST on 14th October 2023 and
will continue till 09:00 pm IST on 14th October 2023.
🟢The mode of this contest will be online through Codechef.
🟢All the participants must have codechef id.Those who don't have a codechef id are advised to create a codechef id prior to the contest.If you clcik on contest button then you will be redirected to codechef platform where you can sign up and create an id.
🟢There will be total ,5 mcq type questions where a question may have more than one correct option.A question will be considered as correctly answered if all correct options are choosen.
🟢Participants will be ranked as per the consumption of time to solve a problem rightly.
🟢On the day of contest,at 7:00 pm IST, you have to participate through the contest link.The contest link will redirect you to the codechef platform where you need to log in with your codechef id to start the contest.First,you need to fill up a short registration form given as question number one and then you can answer other questions.You need to answer all the questions to finish the contest.
🟢Candidates who will solve atleast two questions will be given certificate of merit and top three will be given certificate of excellence along with the prize money.
🟢Registration fees :Free.
🟢Syllabi:10+2 level precollege Mathematics(Number Theory,Algebra,Combinatorics,Geometry).
🟢Duration:2 hours open challenge.
🟢Prize money worth $150 for topper,$100 for 2nd ranker & $50 for the 3rd ranker along with certificate of excellence.
